I KNOW THE PROPHETS
Allah (swt) has sent many prophets throughout history to convey His commands and prohibitions to people and to show His servants the right path. Prophet means messenger or envoy in the dictionary. Religionî As a term, it means the chosen messenger who is responsible for conveying the orders and prohibitions, principles of belief and worship, and moral principles declared by Allah (swt) to people. Allah (swt) has chosen highly qualified people among people as prophets. Prophets conveyed Allah's (c.c.) orders and prohibitions to people. They showed them the ways to be happy in this world and the afterlife. They taught why and how to worship Allah (c.c.). They set an example to people with their good morals and lifestyle. In the Holy Quran, it is explained in the following verse that prophets were sent to every society: “We have sent you with the truth, as a bearer of good news and as a warner. A warner (prophet) has surely been found for every nation.” Hz. Adam (a.s.), the first human being, is also the first person appointed by Allah (c.c.) as a prophet. The last prophet is our prophet Hz. It is Muhammad (pbuh).
