Mawlid Kandili: Prophet Muhammad. The night when Muhammad (S.A.V) honored the world. The birth of our Prophet in 571 on the 12th day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal caused that day to be spent in worship by the Islamic world, shortly after his death.
?Mawlid, “birthday” Derived from the word root (to be born) and meaning “birth, birth, place of birth” It is a word meaning. In Islamic literature, our Prophet Muhammad. It represents Muhammad's (S.A.V) arrival to the world. The prayers held on the 12th day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal, in which our Prophet was born, were announced with oil lamps lit in the minaret during the Ottoman period and II. During Selim's reign, this day when our Prophet was commemorated was called Mawlid Kandili.
