4th Grade Turkish Lesson Positive and Negative Sentence Activity • Positive Sentence: Sentences indicating that the action reported by the predicate has been done, has occurred or may occur are positive. The verbs of positive sentences do not contain any of the negatives such as not, not, -siz, -ma, -mez. •Negative Sentence: Sentences that express that the action reported by the predicate did not occur are negative sentences. Verb phrases “-ma,-me” with the negative suffix; noun clauses “no, not” It is made negative with words.
