What is a Pronoun?
Words that take the place of a noun in a sentence, even though they are not nouns, and that refer to people or any entity through a sign, question, and in a vague way, are called pronouns. Pronouns do not refer to any noun when used alone. In order for pronouns to have meaning, they must correspond to the meaning of a noun.
With the help of pronouns, that is, pronouns, a great savings is made in the language. Because repeating the names of people or beings in sentences would both lengthen the sentence and make the sentence more complicated. Therefore, beings are called “I, you, this, that, that” It can be used in a sentence using pronouns as a shorthand.
